The Party’s Over

And it was great! Thanks to all of you who came by. You are the best! 🙂 We raised money for CRY America, we had our silly contest, we laughed and we danced. I was totally crazed. (Not a surprise to those of you who really know me – I am ALWAYS totally crazed,) I was doing fine right up til the first guest arrived. Then I freaked. I don’t think I spent more than 5 minutes in the local chat. I had more IM’s going than I thought I could ever manage. The only reason that I know I had a good time at the party was because I went through all the chat logs AFTERWARDS and found myself laughing out loud. 🙂 So I think it went well.

For those of you who participated in the contest – you are WONDERFUL!!!!!! NEXT TIME (and oh yes, there will definitely be a next time) I promise to have all the rules posted and ready for you from the start. (My, what a competitive, nit-picking group you are. 🙂 ) I apologize to those of you who didn’t realize that you could leave your clothes on and simply ADD what was in the boxes. /me laughs I think the fact that you participated ANYWAY, not knowing that key fact, proves that you possess a fantastic sense of humor, poise

and an incredible good-nature. I know that I was less than clear in the “rules” but you all overcame my shortcomings and brought so much fun and laughter to us all. I also apologize for not sticking to my announced time line. I’m sorry – I was simply laughing too hard and having too much fun looking at you all and encouraging the fashionably-late arrivals to join in. You know that I was crazed and laughing because I took almost no photos!!! Ahuva NOT snapping the camera??? Unthinkable.

Words cannot express how happy you all made me yesterday. Nor can words adequately express my

appreciation for your support and participation. Thank you again!

Many, many thanks to Shenlei and Bailey who helped me get this show on the road. Um, ladies – the point of the party was for me to thank YOU. LOL. Now here I am again – in your debt, needing to thank you! You are fantastic friends and I love you both.

Oh yeah, I just love a party. So when some friends IM’d to say that they were on their way over, sorry they were late, we just hung around and partied some more! It’s always rockin’ at the Crown and Pearl!
