Rainbows ….. unicorns …… drinks with umbrellas
/me snatches the drink, tosses the umbrella, and books a flight to a warm sunny spot with a lazy river
Oh dear. But on the plus side, you are obviously smart enough to take your own good advice.
I have indeed learned a few new tricks as an old dog. π
And here’s the heart of the matter, or the lesson to be learned, or whatever you want to call it. I was angry because I was fed-up with other people’s lack of manners/consideration/communication. I’d had 2 communications back to back where people had acting without communicating properly to the person upon whom they were acting. In one case assigning work without prior explanation and in my personal case an attempt to engage in (possibly confidential) discussion without first providing an introduction. Hardly worth all the anger they engendered. So (1) very little is worth the anger that triggers the desire to write a snarky, nasty, condescending post *grin* and (2) when the proper introduction was finally made, I LIKED the person, LIKED why he was reaching out to me and it made my – gasp – pleased. Possibly even HAPPY. π
So I repeat: NEVER blog when you are angry. And NEVER respond to an email immediately if you have any kind of emotional reaction. π Darn, I may actually be learning something!!!
woof! (btw – MY spirit animal is a border collie)
